Just Credit Union’s 2020/21 Virtual Annual General Meeting

Weds 16th March 2022 at 3.30pm

Just Credit Union is owned by its members and run for their mutual benefit. The Annual General Meeting is a keyway members can participate and give us their views. At the meeting members will hear updates on the work of the credit union, and have the chance to vote on some key decisions such as the Directors’ and Auditor’s Reports. We hope you will join us and find out more about YOUR credit union.

So as many people as possible can attend we will again be holding the AGM on-line. Simply follow the link below to register and we will send you details on how to join the meeting. We will be using the GoTo Webinar platform for the meeting, hosted by ABCUL, the Association of British Credit Unions.

Attending the Meeting

Please click on the link below to “Ëœregister’ with ABCUL before the meeting.

Then simply enter your First Name, Last Name, Email & Membership Number, then press the blue “ËœRegister’ button. All done! There is no cost to taking part. Once registered you will receive a confirmation email immediately, from Jackie Littlewood at ABCUL, with a link to join the meeting.

Ahead of the meeting

As this is a virtual meeting, we are unable to “Ëœhand out’ the usual information packs. We will therefore a few days before the AGM add the documents, including our Annual Report, the Agenda & Minutes to the ‘News’ section of this website.

At the virtual meeting

During the meeting, members can ‘ask virtual questions’ at any time by typing in the ‘Question’ section. We will be monitoring questions throughout the meeting, and will either reply in the question area, raise your question during Any Other Business, or in some cases, respond afterwards.
All Attendees will be “Ëœmuted’ during the presentation. Ahead of a vote, the Presenter will ask members to use the “ËœHand Raising’ function to be unmuted for verbal questions.
Voting will be live in the meeting with instant results. The vote will be on screen, and members simply select their preference. We will hold a test vote at the start of the meeting, so everyone has the opportunity to practise!
